Wang Food Market Hornby Opening Gift Card Giveaway – Terms & Conditions 

This T&C establishes the rules and procedures for conducting the Wang Food Market Hornby Gift Card Giveaway event, ensuring fairness, transparency, and compliance with applicable laws and company standards.

Acceptance of Terms

  1. By receiving or using a Hornby Opening Gift Card, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by Hornby Opening Gift Card Event Terms & Conditions. 
     

Eligibility 

  1. This promotion is available exclusively at Wang Food Market Hornby (6 Tower Street, Hornby, Christchurch) and does not apply to any other Wang Food Market stores, including Auckland locations.

  2. Participants must be customers who make a qualifying purchase during the promotional period. 

  3. Purchases of products from in-store vendors are not included in the amount used to qualify for a Hornby Opening Gift Card. 

  4. Hornby Opening Gift Cards are only issued at the time of payment and cannot be requested separately. 

  5. Purchases made by staff or business accounts are excluded from Hornby Opening Gift card eligibility.

Promotional Period

  1. The promotional period is from 17 April 2026 to 26 April 2026. 

  2. Hornby Opening Gift Cards issued during the promotional period are redeemable from 27 April 2026 onwards. 

  3. Notwithstanding clause 3.1, the promotion may conclude earlier if all available Hornby Opening Gift Cards have been fully distributed. 
     

Distribution of Hornby Opening Gift Cards

  1. Hornby Opening Gift Cards will be issued strictly based on qualifying purchases: 

    1. Purchases under $100.00 → No Hornby Opening Gift issued. 

    2. Purchases of $100.00 or more but less than $200.00 → 1 Hornby Opening Gift Card 

    3. Purchases of $200.00 or more but less than $300.00 → 2 Hornby Opening Gift Cards 

    4. Purchases of $300.00 or more but less than $400.00 → 3 Hornby Opening Gift Cards, and so on. 

  2. The qualifying spend amount is based on the final transaction total after discounts and promotions. 

  3. The card will be issued for a single transaction only, and multiple transactions cannot be combined to receive it. 

  4. Transactions for which Hornby Opening Gift Cards have been issued are non-refundable and can only be exchanged. 

  5. A maximum of 3,000 Hornby Opening Gift Cards are available for this promotion and will be issued on a first come, first served basis. The promotion may end early once all gift cards have been distributed.
     

Use of Hornby Opening Gift Cards 

  1. Hornby Opening Gift Card issued under this promotion cannot be used during the same event period. 

  2. All gift cards issued under this promotion are redeemable from 27 April 2026 only. 

  3. Gift Cards are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. 

  4. Lost, stolen, damage or misplaced gift cards will not be replaced.

Fraud Prevention 

  1. Any attempt to tamper with Hornby Opening Gift Cards, duplicate entries, or misuse the event will result in immediate disqualification. 

  2. The company reserves the right to take legal action in cases of fraud or misconduct.

​

Liability 

  1. The company is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged cards once issued. 

  2. In case of disputes, the company’s decision shall be final.

​

Modification & Termination 

The company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the event at any time if circumstances require.
