Wang Food Market Hornby Grand Opening Freebies & Lucky Draw – Terms & Conditions 

This T&C establishes the rules and procedures for conducting the Wang Food Market Hornby Grand Opening Events, ensuring fairness, transparency, and compliance with applicable laws and company standards.

Acceptance of Terms 

  1. By participating in any Hornby Grand Opening Event, customers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. 
     

Event Period 

  1. The promotional period is from 17 April 2026 to 19 April 2026 inclusive. 

  2. All event benefits, giveaways, and prize claims must be made during the promotional period unless otherwise stated.

 

Store location

  1. This promotion is available exclusively at Wang Food Market Hornby, 6 Tower Street, Hornby, Christchurch, and does not apply to any other Wang Food Market stores or locations. 

 

Event 1 – Welcome Giveaway Freebies 

  1. Customers visiting the store during the promotional period may receive a free pack of wet wipes, subject to stock availability. 

  2. Children visiting the store may receive one free bubble toy or one balloon only. 

  3. Giveaway items are available in limited quantities and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. 

  4. Giveaway items cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or any other products. 

  5. Wang Food Market reserves the right to substitute giveaway items with products of equal or similar value if necessary.

Event 2 – Guaranteed Win Lucky Draw 

  1. Customers are eligible to receive one (1) lucky draw entry for every NZD $30 spent in a single transaction. 

  2. The qualifying spend amount is based on the final transaction total after discounts, promotions, vouchers, and special offers have been applied. 

  3. Purchases made from in-store vendors or subtenancy businesses are not included in the qualifying amount. 

  4. Multiple receipts or separate transactions cannot be combined for the purpose of receiving additional entries. 

  5. Customers must present the original receipt at the designated event counter to participate. 

  6. Every valid draw entry is a guaranteed win and there are no blank entries. 

  7. Prizes must be claimed immediately at the prize station during the event period. 

  8. Prizes are subject to stock availability and may be substituted with items of equal or similar value. 

  9. Prizes are available in limited quantities. This event may automatically end without prior notice once all prizes have been fully distributed. 
     

Exclusions and Refunds

  1. Purchases made by staff, business customers, or trade accounts are excluded from event eligibility. 

  2. For business customers, amounts paid after applying discounts or special offers are not included in the qualifying amount for event participation. 

  3. Transactions that qualify for participation in the event are not eligible for refund and are exchange only, subject to applicable consumer laws.
     

Fraud Prevention 

  1. Any attempt to tamper with receipts, duplicate participation, misuse event benefits, or otherwise act fraudulently will result in immediate disqualification. 

  2. The company reserves the right to refuse participation and take further action in cases of suspected fraud or misconduct.

Liability 

The company is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged or unclaimed prizes once issued. 

In case of disputes, the company’s decision shall be final.

Modification & Termination 

The company reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the event at any time if circumstances require. 

Any updates to the Terms & Conditions will be effective immediately upon notice in store or through official company channels.
